In February 2013, the RWB "Royal Ocean" became the first RWB Porsche on Canadian shores. It took Nakai roughly 40 hours to complete the transformation over the course of a week, and the work was of course all done by eye. In true perfectionist style, before carrying out any work he apparently spent a lot of the time just staring at the car - going over the body lines in his mind and visualizing what needed to be done to achieve his vision. The wheel wells were also hand sanded many many times over for the perfect fitment and the resulting fit and finish is even better than factory. Nakai dubbed this creation “Royal Ocean” based on the car’s color and the shared love of a 400 gallon reef aquarium that the owner has in his home. While the owner is probably never going to part with such an incredible RWB creation, you can still own one for yourself in 1:64 scale!
