The ultimate Honda may be the famed NSX which is renown for its exceptional handling abilities (thanks to a certain F1 driver) and of all the rare variations that were released the NSX-R GT may be the ultimate unicorn of all. Starting off with a base NSX, the NSX-R evolved to become lighter and ‘unofficially’ more powerful thanks to the hand-built engine using Honda race technology. While the NSX-R was even more track focused than the regular NSX, the NSX-R GT takes things to the next level and inches into racecar territory as a homologation special based on the NSX-R. To say they are rare is an understatement as there were only five ever built and also had an eye watering price of 50 million yen (about $466,000 USD!). Luckily you can still own one in 1:64 scale with this detailed collectors model!
The next generation NSX that followed might not be as rare but with a Liberty Walk widebody kit it certainly still makes an impact.
