RE Amemiya is often considered the peak of rotary tuning by many, and rightly so. The man behind the name has been tuning rotary engines since 1974 and has become a true legend in the world of JDM tuning.
Unlike many other tuners, RE Amemiya has been competing in professional motorsport in everything from the Super GT series to D1GP for many years, using the knowledge gained in these experiences to finely hone their products and prove their performance where it counts. Its instantly recognizable RX7 creations have also been featured in games such as Gran Turismo several times.
Many JDM fans will remember RE Amemiya from countless tuning videos seen on Youtube and classic JDM DVDs. Its cars have been featured in shows like Best Motoring and Hot Version competing in touge events doing battle with other top tier JDM tuners like Amuse and J's Racing. RE Amemiya's RX-7 held the title of Touge Monster from 2004 to 2007 and again in 2009 with their FD3S chassis.
